Primary education is so important for any nation, we can even call it "the backbone of a nation". In Bangladesh, all citizens must undertake twelve years of compulsory education which consists of eight years at primary school level and four years at high school level. Primary and secondary education is financed by the state and free of charge in public schools.

According to the survey of 2018, Bangladesh has more than 6 thousand govt. primary schools (Source: Wikipedia). The govt. has taken some good initiatives to improve the primary education system like: All govt. primary schools will be multi story building with modern privileges for the students and the main rood that connected to the school must be paving (pitched road).

But still, some students unfortunately falls off from their study, some parents still thinks that earning money is better than going to school. So, still there some "child-labor" in the country. Bangladesh is in the verge of great opportunity to have progress. We're not any poor country anymore, we're on the path of developing country now. Poverty cannot be an obstacle to children's education. I think it's time to re-decorate our mentality for our children so that they can get outstanding education quality to raise brightly.

The class room you can see in this picture is from a Non-govt. primary section in Thakurgaon district called Police Line High School & College. I photographed it when we were celebrating "the photography day". It was organized in the event while I was designing their official website. It's a simple picture, really. There were other students too. I tried to pop it up by turning into black-and-white, vignetting a bit and played with light & shadow. Please comment on social media if you like my work.
